I went to a craft store and bought a large package of toole
It works the same in your pool as your net when your cleaning
Put it on first over your pool Then put the cover on
NO BUGS, NO DIRT I have the 8'ft pool which I love
So one pack works great But I keep a spare just in case
As long as its underneath the cover it works well

Little holes for what !? - Jesse Wong -
The cover has a bunch of little holes in it. So what happens is the water inside the pool will come out of these holes and sit on top of the cover. Dust and dirt will settle on the water. When you remove the cover, alot of the water will go back inside the holes along with the dirt, so you are putting dirst all up inside your pool.

The holes don't make sense to me.

A must have if you have the 8' Intex pool. I used a tarp at first to cover it, but this looks much better and stays on a lot better. Only complain is that the little tree frogs in our area in the NW can crawl trough the vents and then they don't survive. Kind of sad. So we had to tape over the holes.

I have the 8' x 30" Intex pool. After vacuuming my pool, there was still quite a large amount of sand left behind. This was very easily fixed by attaching a sock instead of the debris bag that came with it. My suggestion to anyone purchasing this product would be to discard the debris bag, and use either a sock or a nylon instead! Other than that, I am Very Pleased with the results, and would definately purchase again and recommend this product to anyone with a children's pool! It does the job!

not really a vacuum - Kenneth W. Heili II -
The net and pole are useful,however note this is not a vacuum, you attach a garden hose to the end and the hose water swirls the debris into the attached net. (not good for pools that acquire a lot of sand.)
Also note the description says "a pool maintenance kit" It never implies it is a vacuum, I am pleased I got what I ordered, and in a timely fashion.

A Pool Cover For Sure, But Not The Best - Josh Marquis - North Carolina, USA
Bottom line, it's a pool cover that does work when it's not windy. It's very lightweight and easy to install the first time. I could have easily done it myself, but decided to have my wife help and it went on in about three minutes. It's a light blue color and floats on top of the water with holes spaced throughout to help rain water drain through. The only downfall I've noticed so far is the lack of tiedowns. Instead of being able to tie it to the frame of the pool, you can only tighten it around the sides with a single rope that doesn't hold snugly like in the picture shown. When you get any kind of wind above a few mph, the wind catches the pool cover and lifts it off the pool frame and you end up with a pool cover sitting at the bottom of your outdoor pool. When this happens, it is very hard to put back on because the water weighs the pool cover down and it's almost impossible to put on by yourself.

I ended up having to reinforce parts of the pool cover with duct tape about every six feet and then cut a small hole where I put a rope through to help tie it down. Once I did this in about 7 different spots, I had no issues with the wind flipping the cover off the pool. This feature should have been intergrated into the pool cover design.

If you want to keep the cover clean when not being used, I suggest buying a 30-gallon trash can, undoing the rope, and then pulling it directly into the trash can to keep dirt and grass off of it while not in use.
